This image of the CPR Calgary station is probably the oldest of the group.
Its serial number suggests a 1912 date of publication.
The camera is facing timetable east.

The Spiral Tunnels provided many different vantage points for photographers.
Photographers provided many different souvenir images for train travellers to purchase over the years ...
Notice the old-style fishplate which places the rail joint between the ties.
The date stamps probably indicate the 'date of acquisition' for a previous owner.
