Here is a little selection of rail freight items from various Canadian Pacific Railway Spanner magazines, which were filed by my father.
First, a pep talk from The Boss about car utilization. Compensating for inflation, a boxcar costing 'over' $8000 in 1953 would cost 'over' $80,000 in 2021. Seems kind of low.
... and 'no sale is made until the question is asked' !
